The Shield's Dean Ambrose in Singles Action This Week

The Shield rolls into Detroit, MI this week as Dean Ambrose is scheduled to take on the “Big Red Monster” Kane in singles action on Friday Night Smackdown.

Ambrose is the only member of The Shield to compete in singles matches on WWE programming; he is also the first, and only man in the group to pick up a loss. Dean Ambrose submitted to The Undertaker’s “Hell’s Gate” submission hold last week on Smackdown, live from London, England. It was a rare appearance from The Deadman, but despite his victory in singles action, The Shield would destroy The Phenom after the match. Roman Reigns left his mark with a spear through the barricade, and the group collectively powerbombed ‘Taker through the announce table to end the show.
