Chavo Guerrero and “Supermex” Hernandez were named the new #1 contenders to the TNA World Tag Team championships this week on Impact Wrestling.

This week, TNA and Impact Wrestling returned live to Jonesboro, Arkansas, and the former tag champs were bent on revenge. Lucky for them, it was also Open Fight Night! Chavo and Hernandez called out Bad Influence – Christopher Daniels & Kazarian – and Impact general manager Hulk Hogan made the stipulation that the winning team would receive the next shot at the tag belts, currently held by Bobby Roode and Austin Aries. Chavo won the match for his team, with a signature Frog Splash on Christopher Daniels.

Big “Supermex” is no stranger to tag team action in TNA, winning the titles on four separate occasions with four separate partners – one of them being Chavo Guerrero. At this time a date for the match has not been set, but it is expected to go down on April 11th, on the same night that Bully Ray defends the Word Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Hardy.
