Former WWE Superstar Dave Batista has updated his Twitter account, speaking on the recent speculation surrounding a potential return to the WWE. The rumor mill began with a report by The Wrestling Observer last month, stating that Batista had been bulking up, and was quickly approaching his old wrestling weight.

Although the former six-time World Champion has denied any rumor that he has plans for a return to the ring – or an MMA octagon – he has remained optimistic and open to a future return at some point. In 2012, Batista stated in an interview that WWE’s current family oriented product had ruined wrestling for him, and he was “waiting for the PG stuff to blow over.”

“The Animal” has stated Brock Lesnar and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as two opponents he would like to face going forward, should he return to WWE.
