Multiple sources are reporting that the WWE may try to release another new cable television show before the launch of the “fabled” WWE Network. WWE’s tentative plans are to try and get a new WWE project on TV as early as this summer. WWE officials are noting that the upcoming project will be another endeavor that was meant to be on the long-delayed WWE Network, just like “WWE Totally Divas!” which will now air on the E! entertainment network.

As we reported Monday, the WWE is already planning on bringing their NXT program to American television this year. It is uncertain what networks the WWE will partner with to broadcast NXT or this new project, but the overall feeling in the WWE office is that with this announcement and the WWE’s new deal with Yahoo, the Network is going to get another big delay. New projects may continue to hit E! and Yahoo until the WWE Network launches, which, at this rate, we may not see in our lifetime. Check out this article on the “much talked about, but never seen” WWE Network.
