Stardust has found himself a pair of allies in his war against “The Man that Gravity Forgot.”

This new stable, aptly named “Cosmic Wasteland,” formed on “Thursday Night Smackdown” tonight, when The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor) attacked Neville before his match with Stardust.

Neville and Stardust have history, as they faced each other in a tag team match at “SummerSlam,” in which the former NXT Champion teamed with actor Stephen Amell, while Stardust was paired with King Barrett.

Barrett was pinned in that match, and as a result, Stardust felt the need to lay out The Cosmic King on “Raw” two weeks ago, writing him off television so he can film a movie project.

For The Ascension, they have been floating around the tag team division since being called up to the main roster, and have struggled to find their footing the past two months.

Editor’s Note:

While I really enjoy all three guys in the ring, the combination doesn’t make sense yet. But more Ascension on telvision is fine by me. Also, I am guessing the name doesn’t last long, since when you Google “Cosmic Wasteland,” a rock/metal band pops up.
