Sheamus has been missing live events on WWE’s Australian Tour,  with a possible injury being the reason why.

“The Celtic Warrior” was advertised for all live events during the Australian Tour, but has since been replaced by King Barrett. Many fans were left wondering why Mr. Money in the Bank was missing these shows, to which he eventually responded on twitter.

Sheamus last competed on “Monday Night Raw,” teaming with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper in a losing effort to the team of Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Randy Orton. Sheamus was pinned after bring hit with a Spear by Reigns. While it is unknown if “The Great White” is actually injured, he did hint at one, although nothing further is known at this time.

This would make Sheamus the third superstar to go on the shelf in the last month. Current Intercontinental Champion Ryback was injured on July 13, with a Staph Infection in his knee. Then, current United States Champion John Cena was injured on July 27 when he suffered a severe broken nose in a match with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

WrestlingRumors.net will keep you updated on the situation as more is learned, but this is all we know at this time. Sheamus may just be teasing fans on Twitter, but due to him missing events, it is very possible he may be injured.

Editor’s Note:

This would leave WWE without the current Intercontinental Champion, US Champion, and Mr. Money in the Bank. Granted, it is entirely possible all three men are back by “SummerSlam” and compete at the event.
