The Very Latest on The Rock Appearing at WrestleMania

Since returning to WWE in 2011, The Rock hasn’t missed a single WrestleMania, and while he hasn’t officially been added to the show, it’s expected that he’ll continue his appearance streak, and show up as a surprise.

On Friday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer updated us on whether or not The Rock will appear on tomorrow night’s show.

“So, Ata [The Rock’s mom] is in town. But, she would probably be in town anyway because Nia Jax is on the show, and they’re very close. Dwayne is gonna be in Orlando on Tuesday or Wednesday. I think he’s doing one of the talk shows. He’s doing something this week in Orlando. He’s working mostly in Los Angeles, and he does have the movie to promote. I know that the TV show Ballers is filming right now and it’s not shooting on Sunday. It’s shooting almost every other day, but they are not shooting on Sunday. I think he said if he could be there, he’d be there. He likes coming every year. I don’t know if he’s there, I’m just saying that his mom has been in town for a couple days.”

Last year, WWE announced that The Rock was going to be a part of WrestleMania 32 several months in advance, and they didn’t do that this year. So, it’s possible that he won’t show up.
