Unlike his attitude era co-star The Rock, Steve Austin has picked his spots when it comes to appearing at WrestleMania, as he doesn’t want to do anything that doesn’t have a big impact. So, the question is, does WWE have anything big planned for the Texas Rattlesnake on Sunday? The answer, sadly, is no.

On Friday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Steve Austin likely won’t be at this year’s WrestleMania.

“Yeah, as far as I can tell, [Steve Austin] is not coming at all. People who know him haven’t heard that he’s gonna be here. It may be a complete, major surprise, but I don’t expect him [to be] here. But you know, who knows? I just haven’t heard anything about him at all.”

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin returns to kick off Raw: Raw, October 19, 2015
