A Retired Star Just As Big As the Rock Was Also Backstage At Raw

The Rock’s appearance before and after Raw this week has been blowing up on social media, but it seems the Brahma Bull wasn’t the only massive star making the rounds backstage.

That other superstar was one of few names as major as Rocky–none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin, who was also at the Staples Center on Monday night.

Though sadly, it doesn’t seem he made an appearance for fans, Austin did make the rounds on social media with a number of current stars.

One of those was Charlotte, who peaced out with the Hall of Famer before the show.

Not to be outdone, the current Tag Team Champions, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, also got in on the action–though it seems Austin wasn’t in a “too sweet” kind of mood.

Why was Austin in attendance? We have no idea! Perhaps in talks with WWE officials for anything from a podcast to a WrestleMania appearance. Or maybe he was just there to hang out. We certainly won’t tell the Rattlesnake what to do.

The big off-air report was the Rock’s post-show call to CM Punk. Folks backstage–including Vince himself–were not happy, and while video is still out there, WWE has been making efforts to pull those clips down.
