Tonight’s Raw closed out with six-man tag team action, and a massive post-match brawl that offered a surprising lack of surprises.
The main event featured Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Sami Zayn teaming up to take on Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, and Braun Strowman. It was a solid match elevated by a very excited crowd, and a great closer for tonight’s show.
Predictably, Zayn took the pin from Strowman to end the fight, and a post-match brawl brought chaos to the show.
An early trek to the announce desk left the closing scene without commentary, giving it a surreal feel unlike many other similar brawls. Seth brought out a steel chair to take down Strowman, but Owens grabbed the implement and turned it against the two Shield brothers to even the odds.
The end saw Jericho and Owens mocking the Shield with a little multi-man powerbomb of their own, driving Roman Reigns through the announce table to close Raw.
It was a typical but effective show-ending brawl. The real surprise was the lack of surprise. With Lesnar in the house–and Triple H teased for an appearance–there’s no doubt it seemed the end had room for a little extra.
We’ve got full results from tonight’s show right here, but check back later tonight when we’ll have full video from Raw, as well.
