John Cena will take on Dean Ambrose and WWE World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles in a triple threat for the title at No Mercy. But before that, Ambrose and Styles had a singles match for the belt in last night’s SmackDown main event.
Cena would become involved in the fight after a cheap shot from AJ Styles, eventually leading to the Phenomenal One’s victory with a quick roll-up.
However, Cena wasn’t done with the champ and challenger, delivering an Attitude Adjustment to both men to close the show.

Ambrose had some choice words for Cena last week, calling the 15-time world champion a “lazy part-timer,” and the comment seemed to get under Cena’s skin. Not so, claimed Cena on Talking Smack.
Cena said that he “doesn’t care about Dean Ambrose” in response to the latter’s claim that they didn’t like each other.

John Cena is showing a lot of fire ahead of No Mercy’s main event. You might wonder what yet another title reign would mean for a wrestler so accomplished, but a victory at No Mercy would allow Cena to tie Ric Flair’s record 16 world championship reigns. That victory could take Cena from being the greatest of his generation to the greatest of all time.
Does Cena deserve that distinction? Let us know in the comments.
