Fred Ottman may not be the most recognizable name in wrestling–he’s certainly no Austin or Hogan–but he was a mainstay on wrestling television through the late 80s and early 90s.

He was first known as Tugboat in WWF, but later reintroduced as Typhoon, joining Earthquake as part of a tag team known as the Natural Disasters. Perhaps unfortunately, today he’s best known as the man under the bedazzled Stormtrooper helmet during the disastrous debut of the Shockmaster.

He’s an ironically beloved part of wrestling history, but things aren’t going great for Fred. He was hospitalized earlier this week in St. Petersburg, Florida. His wife, Sheila, posted the news on Facebook. No details on what happened, but she said “he is still very weak and sick but will be better in a few days.”

If you’re looking for a place to send cards or well-wishes, Sheila provided this address:

St. Anthony’s Hospital
145 5th Ave North St Petersburg Florida 33701

The Natural Disasters were recently among a rumored list of names for this year’s Hall of Fame induction.

Our best wishes for Fred’s recovery and continued health.
