The Big Dog needs big competition, and he’s about to get some in the form of one of the biggest threats on Raw.
You may recall that Braun Strowman spent weeks beating up jobbers and demanding better competition. That story hit the sidelines during the Royal Rumble build, but it came back for tonight’s Raw.
Strowman was in a 4-on-1 handicap match against a quartet of local competitors, and as you might expect it ended with all opponents stacked in the middle of the ring–aside from the one who escaped backstage earlier.
After the match, Strowman took the mic and once again demanded better competition from GM Mick Foley, then went backstage to demand that competition in person.
Foley quickly relented, making a Fastlane match between Strowman and Reigns.
It’s a battle that’s been building for some time, and one that fits in with the rumors we’ve heard for the upcoming Fastlane card. We’re also expecting a Universal Title match for Goldberg at the show.
Fastlane takes place on March 5th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
