As previously reported, during the Oct. 5 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Stephanie McMahon confirmed a match for the WWE World Tag Team Championships between The New Day and The Dudley Boyz for “Hell In A Cell” on Oct. 25 from Los Angeles, California.
Rumors are now circulating that WWE will add a stipulation to this match, most likely making it a Tables Match-The Dudley’s specialty.
The New Day has continued to find ways to hold onto the WWE World Tag Team Championships ever since winning them from the Prime Time Players back at “SummerSlam.” During this feud with The Dudley’s, The New Day have been self-disqualified during a championship match three times, allowing them to retain their titles.
In addition, The New Day even started a “#savethetables” campaign, boycotting The Dudley’s use of tables in WWE. It seems only fitting that The New Day be forced to defend the titles in a Tables Match.
Will The New Day figure out another way to sneak out of “Hell In A Cell” with the titles, or will The Dudley Boyz become the 10 time WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Editor’s Note:
Well, if they did add this stipulation, it makes a lot of sense. I do not know if WWE is ready to have The New Day drop the tag titles, especially after the display they put on in the Main Event of the Oct. 5 edition of “Raw.” However, I can almost guarantee that we will see a TLC match between these teams in the near future.
