E! Online has posted a clip in preparation for tonight’s new episode of “Total Divas.”
“When you’re recovering from a huge surgery like Bryan has been, sometimes injuries can happen easily,” Brie said. “Right now I’m just waiting to find out whether Bryan can wrestle again.”
Brie goes on to discuss how the doctor noted that the chances of Bryan’s career being over were 50/50. Nikki then responded:
“I’m so confused right now, when Brie tells me this information, and she’s so calm and collective about it,” Nikki told the camera. “Then she takes a selfie with Nattie, and I’m like, ‘hold on, why is my sister being so calm?'”
Bryan made a special “MizTV” appearance during the Aug. 10 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” While not discussing any specifics regarding his health status, Bryan put over his New York Times best-selling book, “Yes, My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania,“ as well as current WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback.
As previously reported, Bryan claims that a neurologist has cleared him for competition, but WWE is hesitant to allow him to return to action. Regardless, he will not accept that his career is over and has vowed to wrestle again

Editor’s Note:
I am not an avid watcher of “Total Divas,” but I did find this clip extremely interesting. Being that it was taped months ago, it sheds some light on the true severity of Bryan’s injury. If he truly has be cleared to compete, while I understand their hesitation, Bryan understands the risk that he is taking in returning to action, and WWE should respect his passion and let him get back into the ring.
