It seems that Good ol’ JR will be making his return to a WWE video game near you.

2KSports announced Friday that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross will be returning to the commentary table in the upcoming edition of “WWE 2K16.”

According to a tweet sent out by the official WWE 2K Twitter account, Ross will be calling the action for the 2K Showcase mode, which will focus on the career of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin:

After the announcement was made official, Austin took to Twitter, expressing his excitement:

As previously reported, “WWE 2K16” will have the largest character roster in the franchise’s history. With rumors of having over 120 unique characters to choose from, “WWE 2K16” is turning in to quite the slobbernocker!

Editor’s Note:

I am really looking forward to playing “WWE 2K16.” I am normally a huge fan of the 2K Showcase modes, so being able to relive my favorite Austin moments is a huge plus for me! Since JR was such a huge part of Austin’s success during the attitude era, this only makes sense to include him on commentary, regardless of any backstage issues their might be.
