It appears as though “The Big Easy” will be receiving a visit from “The Beast Incarnate.”
In a commercial airing during the Jan. 4 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Brock Lesnar will be making his return to WWE television next week during the Jan. 11 edition of “RAW,” live from New Orleans. Lesnar has not been seen on WWE programming since his defeat of The Undertaker during their Hell-In-A-Cell match back in October. Lesnar’s advocate, Paul Heyman, did make an appearance on WWE television two weeks ago,
accepting The Slammy Award for “Match of the Year” on Lesnar’s behalf during the Dec. 21 edition of “RAW.”
During his appearance, Heyman cut a promo stating that their was “no superstar in the back” willing to fight his client, and that Lesnar deserved to win every award that evening. Rumors have been circulating regarding plans moving forward with Lesnar, especially as we approach WrestleMania season. With the “Royal Rumble” just three weeks away, maybe we will get a clearer picture when New Orleans becomes “Suplex City” next Monday night.
Editor’s Note:
YES! I am so pumped for Lesnar’s return, as the product is definitely in need of a shot in the arm. Personally, I believe that this appearance will see Lesnar announce his name as an entrant in the Royal Rumble-a match I think he is one of the favorites to win. In addition, I would LOVE to see him face off against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 32, if we are to believe any of the recent rumors. Either way, Lesnar’s return is MUST SEE TV, something WWE sorely needs.
