Finally, The Rock has come back………..home.
In addition, The Rock has recently been moved from the “Alumni Section” to the current roster on WWE.com. It is also being said that WWE may be reaching out to have The Rock return to improve the recent poor ratings.
The Rock has only made a few one-off appearances in WWE since his match with John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship back at WrestleMania 29. His last, a WWE Live Event in Boston on June 27, caused the WWE Universe to explode with excitement about a potential return of “The Great One.”
Obviously any partnership with The Rock needs to be carefully planned around his movie schedule, which has prohibited him from performing in the past. As previously reported, The Rock is slated to face off with WWE Chief Operations Officer Triple H at WrestleMania 32.
Editor’s Note:
The Rock is my favorite WWE superstar of all time, so I am all for his return. I wonder, if he returns soon, will he immediately start an angle with The Authority to set up that match with Triple H at WrestleMania 32? Or will he try to help push his cousin, Roman Reigns, again? It didn’t help him much at the Royal Rumble, so maybe they will try again. We all know we will be entertained, regardless of his role on WWE programming.
