2016 Royal Rumble Introspective: Predictable, Yet Awesome

Overall Reaction:

I have been a WWE fan for over 20 years, and have been to my fair share of live events. I would rank the atmosphere of the 2016 “Royal Rumble” as the second best crowd I have ever been a part of, outranked only by WrestleMania 28.
 
Were most of the matches predictable from a logical booking perspective? Yes. But does predictable automatically equal bad? No. WWE did an excellent job progressing storylines, as well as keeping fans entertained for the entire three hours. And in the end, isn’t that all we REALLY want from a WWE pay-per-view anyway? Good wrestling and entertainment?
 
Listen, is everybody going to agree with what I wrote here, no. But this is my OPINION, from someone who was in that crowd, and I can tell you WWE put on one hell of a show.
