It appears that the “Roman Empire” may not have crumbled just yet.

In the final segment of “Monday Night Raw” this evening, Stephanie McMahon announced the main event for “Fast Lane” on Feb. 21. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar will compete in a triple threat match, with the winner going on to face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania.

Reigns and Ambrose were the last two men eliminated in the “Royal Rumble” this year, both by the “Cerebral Assassin.” After Braun Strowman, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were eliminated by Lesnar, they all returned to the ring and assisted Bray Wyatt in throwing the “Beast Incarnate” over the top rope.

The former members of The Shield showed unity at the end of “Raw,” double power-bombing him through the announcer’s table.

Editor’s Note:

I am incredibly excited for this match. Reigns is a fantastic competitor, whose character has improved greatly over the last few months. Ambrose is as unpredictable as they get, and is absolutely gold, both in the ring and on the mic. And Brock Lesnar is Brock Lesnar. There are a number of possibilities for the finish of this one, and multiple ways to set up some incredible matches for WrestleMania. I can’t wait!
