Who had the BIGGEST pop?
Sami Zayn received a reaction similar to that of a returning Sasha Banks, and once he went right after Owens, fans seemed to be re-energized in that feud.
But once “The Game” from Motorhead starting playing after entrant 30, that crowd came unglued, including myself if you watch my video below. While Triple H is one of my all time favorite wrestlers, I do not believe this has impacted my analysis in any way. However, I was more of a fan of what Triple H entering at #30 meant for the booking of the match, and the progression of the storyline-and I am all for it.
With all that said, here are my rankings for pops of the night:
1.) Triple H
2.) AJ Styles
3.) Sasha Banks
4.) Sami Zayn
5.) The New Day
As far as Triple H walking out WWE Worldheavyweight Champion, I think WWE made the right decision. Some people will say that all Triple H does is bury younger talent, and complain that he shouldn’t be champion. What these fans fail to realize is that Triple H holding the title is truly “best for business.”
Triple H has always been an amazing heel, and what better way to help Reigns FINALLY get over with the fans than by having him defeat the boss, regaining his lost championship on the grandest stage of them all, in the main event of WrestleMania 32.
If it doesn’t work? Seth Rollins should be back in a few months, right?
And now, for my final thoughts:
