Zeb Colter May Manage Antonio Cesaro

Rumors are making their way around the internet stating that WWE personality Zeb Colter may manage Antonio Cesaro in the near future. There has been a lot of backstage talk about putting someone new with Colter since his other client, Jack Swagger, has been sidelined with an injury that could keep him out of action until August. Cesaro is a talent that has been floundering with his character as well, and could use the boost of a manager to help get him over with the fans. The rumors come from an interaction between Colter and Cesaro on Monday Night Raw, where Colter was at ringside doing commentary during Cesaro’s match, praising just about every move he made.

Cesaro teased at a personality change on Raw as well. He walked to the ring for his match, and as a lumberjack during the John Cena/Ryback segment with this new lurching and almost animalistic swagger. He also wore new trunks, did not wear his signature leg tape, and did not yodel. If Colter is paired with Cesaro, this could be a whole new re-imaging for Cesaro in character and in look. Colter and Cesaro as a pair could be a great move for both men if WWE Creative books them well and comes up with some favorable heel tactics for them. The object of this situation would obviously be to mainly get Cesaro over, and with Colter at the “reigns,” he may finally have a chance.
