In a new article through its official website, WWE provides an update on John Cena’s condition after the United States Champion had emergency surgery on July 28. As previously noted, Cena suffered a nasal fracture during “Monday Night Raw” on July 27, causing him to have severe breathing issues which required an immediate surgical procedure to fix.
Cena released a video of himself working out through Twitter on Aug. 2, with the caption reading,
“The only obstacle that can slow you down is not believing in yourself. #NeverGiveUp #NGU”

WWE.com then expands on what this means for the US Champ,
“The main event of last week’s Raw was a rough one for John Cena, who suffered a broken nose as a result of a knee to the face from WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. The Champ has mostly gone radio silent since then, resurfacing only to pay his respects to the late WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper Friday night, but the current United States Champion exploded back onto Twitter in a huge way yesterday afternoon.
That is Cena, broken nose and all, moving mountains in the gym as he continues his training despite suffering from an injury of still-unconfirmed severity. While the rumors swirl over Cena’s condition, it’s good to see The Champ hasn’t let it get in the way of his preparation. “Never Give Up,” indeed.”
Time will tell whether or not Cena returns to “RAW” on Aug. 3 or not. The definite question remains: Will Cena compete at “SummerSlam,” and will it be against Seth Rollins?
Editor’s Note:
I guess we’ll see if Cena shows up on “RAW” this week or not. This guy isn’t human!
