The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that WWE will air three weeks worth of video promos of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar leading into his rematch with John Cena at WWE “Night of Champions” on Sept. 21.
As previously reported, Lesnar is not expected to appear on “Monday Night Raw”during the build to “Night of Champions” until the “Go-Home” edition of the show on Sept. 15. Reportedly, WWE filmed multiple segments with Lesnar backstage during the Aug. 18 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” which they will air on WWE television in Lesnar’s absence.
Cena will be returning to WWE TV on the Aug. 25 edition of “Monday Night Raw” to address his loss to Lesnar at “SummerSlam.” Cena was manhandled by “The Beast Incarnate” on Aug. 17, losing the coveted WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter claims that the match between Cena and Lesnar at “SummerSlam” was booked so heavily one-sided to build Lesnar up as the ultimate “monster” of the company, who simply cannot be defeated.
This brings a concern to some for the two men’s upcoming rematch at “Night of Champions.” Cena will again attempt to conquer the conquerer and regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for a sixteenth time. If he does win the match, he’ll tie Ric Flair for the most acknowledged World title victories in professional wrestling history. Many are concerned about how soon this rematch is happening.
Lensar was just given a beyond dominating victory over Cena, and some believe that if Cena were to win clean at “Night of Champions,” it would kill the “monstrous” legacy the company has been constructing for Lesnar over the last 13 months. WWE officials are said to want Lesnar to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion and to remain dominant until WrestleMania 31, where he would get dethroned by a superstar on the rise. Rumors claim that Triple H wants the next big face of the WWE to be Roman Reigns, and he wants Reign to be the first to defeat Lesnar while he is champion.
However, other reports claim that Vince McMahon wants Lesnar vs. The Rock at WrestleMania 31, which may mean that we see the WWE World Heavyweight Championship removed from Lesnar prior to Mar. 29, 2015.

What’s this rematch at “Night of Champions” going to look like? That’s my question. An “I Quit” match? Cage? What?
