Multiple sources are providing an update on Kofi Kingston’s WWE status. As we previously reported, Kingston suffered an elbow injury after Ryback put him through three tables during a Smackdown taping in late May. He then went under the knife and had surgery to repair his left elbow on May 30th.

Kingston has spent the last five weeks rehabilitating his elbow and is expected to return to in-ring action later this month. He will re-join the active roster once the WWE Raw World Tour of Australia is completed on July 3oth. Rumors have Kingston jumping back into the United States Championship picture with Dean Ambrose upon his return.
