TNA Impact Wrestling continues to shed salary, as Joey Ryan becomes the latest superstar to be issued his release, according to PWInsider.com.

His big claim to fame in TNA was his feud with road agent Al Snow. Ryan would constantly show up at TNA Impact tapings after being denied a contract with the company in his failed Gutcheck challenge evaluation. He would later defeat Snow in a match at Bound for Glory, thus earning a contract for himself.

Ryan also had a brief tag team run with Matt Morgan. The pair lost to the TNA Tag Team Champions Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez at two straight PPV events (December 9, 2012 at Final Resolution, January 13, 2013 at Genesis).

Ryan’s last match with the company was on the May 23rd edition of TNA Impact, losing to Petey Williams and Suicide in a three-way X-Division contest.
