Undertaker is now scheduled for the upcoming WWE tour in Mexico from Oct. 16-18. The tour will include shows in Merida on Friday, Oct. 16, Mexico City on Oct. 17, and Monterrey on Oct. 18.
WWE has updated their Live Events ticket section on WWE.com to include The Undertaker for all three house shows. While he’s been added to the Mexico tour, he has not been added to any further WWE television or Pay-Per-View listings.
Undertaker revealed to WWE officials that following his bout with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, he felt great and would be willing to work more. This was a surprise as many believed that the injury ‘Taker suffered at the hands of Lesnar in New Orleans on April 7 at WrestleMania XXX would keep him out of the ring for good. However, this would not be the case.
Undertaker is at least confirmed for “SummerSlam” on Aug. 23, where he’ll face Lesnar in the main event, but he is also expected to work at least one more WrestleMania on April 3, 2016 in Arlington, Texas. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has recently taken to a blog post to say that ‘Taker should lose at “SummerSlam” in four weeks, so that Lesnar and The Deadman can face-off one more time at WrestleMania 32. He believes Lesnar will win at “SummerSlam,” then Undertaker should win and retire at WrestleMania 32 in his backyard of Arlington, Texas.
WrestlingRumors.net will keep you updated to Undertaker’s WWE schedule, as it has been years since The Phenom has competed at two or more PPVs, let alone WWE Live Events, in one calendar year.
Editor’s Note:
This is getting me excited for what’s to come! Undertaker is one of the two that got me interested in wrestling in 1992, and I’ve always been a fan. Glad he’s being more active in 2015.
