Teams Announced for the WWE Tag Team Title Elimination Chamber Match

The WWE Tag Team Championship will be on the line at “Elimination Chamber” on May 31, and The New Day will face five other teams in the bout. As previously reported, the title match will be a Tornado Tag Team bout held inside of the Elimination Chamber at the WWE Network Pay-Per-View.

WWE officially announced the match during the 2015 WWE “Payback” PPV event on May 17, as The New Day were told backstage that they would be all defending the titles inside of the Elimination Chamber. The other teams involved in the match would be revealed during the May 18 of “Monday Night Raw” via the broadcast and the WWE App.

The Intercontinental Championship Elimination Chamber Match was announced on May 18 in similar fashion. The New Day will face the following teams inside of the Elimination Chamber in what could be the most chaotic chamber match in the 13 years the match has existed.

* The Ascension
* Prime Time Players
* Cesaro & Tyson Kidd (#BTE)
* The Lucha Dragons
* Los Matadores

All members of each team will be locked inside each Elimination Chamber pod while the others engage each other in the bout. When a pod is open, both members of said tag team will enter the match and face each other in Tornado Tag rules. Once one member of a team is pinned or submitted, both teammates will be eliminated from the match.

There may be some casualties in this one. I just see a LOT of injuries possibly stemming from this match. It should be one of the more exciting Elimination Chamber matches, though.
