New advertisements and reports claim that Sting is set to accept Triple H’s “Fastlane” challenge during “Monday Night Raw” on Feb. 9. As previously reported, Sting is under a limited date contract with WWE, and is expected to meet “The Game” for a “face-to-face” encounter at WWE “Fastlane” on Feb. 22. The two are then slated to battle one-on-one in Sting’s first ever WWE match at WrestleMania 31 on March. 29.
“The Vigilante” Sting has made two appearances to-date for the company. He made his WWE debut on Nov. 23 during the annual “Survival Series” event, playing a major role in the main event and attacking Triple H to “save” the company. During another bout of “injustice” created by Triple H and The Authority during the Jan. 19 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” Sting appeared yet again to thwart the evil faction from succeeding in their devious plot.
This would be too much for Triple H to handle. On Jan. 21, “The Game” threatened Sting, telling him that if he doesn’t stay out of his business, then he would end him. However, The Authority would then announce that Triple H wants to meet face-to-face with Sting at WWE “Fastlane” just five days later.
Recent reports from multiple outlets state that Sting is expect to respond to Triple H’s challenge on WWE TV either on Feb. 9 or 16, which will be the last “Monday Night Raw” prior to “Fastlane.” However, recent television advertisements and information logs are going a step further and saying that Sting may be RSVP’ing to Triple H’s invitation on Feb. 9.
Charter Communcations, DirecTV, and other providers are running with, “Does Sting respond to HHH’s challenge?” as the description for the Feb. 9 episode of “RAW,” as seen in the photo below.
Will Sting show up on “RAW” come Monday, Feb. 9, or will he respond to Triple H through a message sent by crow (or via satellite)? Either way, expect “The Icon” to confirm his presence on “Fastlane” before the PPV kicks off on Feb. 22.
Editor’s Note:
Anytime that crow music hits, fans are going to lose it. Let’s hope he shows up and says something on “RAW.”
