It’s been several months since Randy Orton has been on WWE television, as he was written off after being viciously attacked by Seth Rollins and The Authority. Rumors have circulated for some time he would be returning to the ring, but he has yet to do so with WrestleMania quickly approaching.

However, he has made his first appearance in some time, and it came at a house show.

At the WWE live event in Salt Lake City, Orton returned to face Kane. According to those in attendance, rather than stroll to the ring as he normally does, he rushed it instead to exact revenge.

Orton had previously faced Kane at the WWE live event at Madison Square Garden Dec. 26, and appeared after “RAW” went dark the next week. Instead, he was then pulled from events, after he supposedly underwent surgery to correct a deviated septum.

He had been rumored for a return in the Royal Rumble match, and was advertised locally for several television tapings. Now though, it is likely he will return at the “RAW” before “Fastlane” on Feb. 16. If he doesn’t, it is unclear where his WrestleMania plans will stand, as he had originally been slated to face Seth Rollins at the big show in Santa Clara, California.

Editor’s Note

Just a matter of time. I imagine his program with Rollins will be a good one. Slow and steady.
