Bad News Barrett has taken to Twitter to tease what may ultimately lead to a slight tweaking of his gimmick.

Barrett posted the following Thursday night on Twitter:

The tweets are obviously a pun on the outlet TMZ, which specializes in celebrity tabloids and getting the dirt on scandals or major happenings. There hasn’t been a hint of such gimmick on WWE television though, as it appears he and Dean Ambrose are headed for a feud over the Intercontinental Championship.

It is also entirely possible the gimmick could just be part of his social media presence. Many will recall, the “Bad News Barrett” name started as a gimmick for the “JBL & Cole Show” on the Internet, and only made television after it got popular backstage.

Editor’s Note

No thank you. Keep it on the Internet.
