Sheamus vs. Rusev is reportedly set for upcoming WWE Live Events. As previously reported, WWE officials have been throwing the idea of placing the United States Championship on Rusev following his encounter with the Big Show at “Hell In A Cell” on Oct. 26. Logistically, this would mean Rusev will topple the Giant during the PPV, and Sheamus would retain his US title.

Several upcoming WWE Live Events for November and December reportedly list “United States Champion Sheamus vs. Rusev” as one of the major encounters set to take place during each show. The championship may even be on the line during some of these Live Events.

However, it is rumored that Sheamus and Rusev will likely engage in a feud that takes them both through matches with each other at both the “Survivor Series” and “TLC” PPVs in November and December respectively. This would mean Rusev will likely win the championship from Sheamus at “Survivor Series,” then defend the US strap against the Irishman at “TLC.”

Editor’s Note:
Good move by WWE to go this route. Best thing for both men, IMO.
