WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has been removed from the Global Force Wrestling roster amidst reports stating that he was removed from the Skate and Surf Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey over the May 17 weekend due to being intoxicated. Hall was scheduled to host a meet-and-greet with fans during a wrestling event held during the festival, but was removed from the event due to his behavior.
As previously reported, Hall was recently revealed to be heading to Global Force Wrestling in a “legend” capacity on the roster. No one knew exactly what Hall was going to be done with the promotion exactly, but he was set to play a role in the programming none-the-less.
According to TMZ, Hall allegedly got into a drunken argument with event officials when they began asking him to “get himself together.” He was then asked to leave, which led to more arguments regarding the fee he was promised for the appearance.
Hall has remained silent on Social Media since the altercation took place, and Global Force Wrestling has yet to make an official statement regarding Hall’s status with the company, but for what it’s worth, “The Bad Guy” has been removed from the roster listed on GlobalForceWrestling.com.
The following video shows Hall seemingly intoxicated arguing with the promoters of the event, along with his eviction from the fair grounds.
Editor’s Note:
This makes me beyond sad. Hall is one of my two all-time favorites, and I thought he was on the up-and-up signing with GFW. I hope he can let this only be a set back, and not let it be a full-on relapse. He’s too great a mind in this business to fall back into the traps that used to ensnare him for so long.
