WWE.com has revealed a portion of this week’s Smackdown results in a report stating that Ryback and Mark Henry broke an NFL record during their “Weightlifting Contest.”

The taping of this Friday’s Smackdown was Tuesday night in Hershey, PA. WWE stated in their report that Henry set a new 225-pound bench press with 53 repetitions, and then Ryback matched his record. The previous record of 51 reps was set by Justin Ernest during the 1999 NFL Combine.

WWE.com also “spoils” how the segment ends. If you’d like to read the ending for yourself, check out the report on WWE.com. Be sure to come back to Wrestling Rumors for full Smackdown coverage LIVE every Friday night, and follow us on Twitter!
