PWInsider.com is reporting that former ECW Champion Taz may be leaving TNA very soon, and could possibly be returning to the WWE. This is merely a rumor at the moment, but a now-deleted tweet from Taz himself is what started all of the current speculation. Taz, who is currently on the IMPACT WRESTLING commentary team, posted the following to Twitter Tuesday:

“Couple of big wrestling shows in my “hometown” of Brooklyn! #RedHookNearBarclay”

The tweet was then deleted in a matter of an hour. The reason why people are wandering if this is a tease at a return to the WWE, is because the company will be taping RAW in the Barclays Center on July 15th, which will be the first Monday Night RAW in the arena. The rumor says Taz was trying to get some underground hype on the situation, but that has yet to be seen.

TNA officials have confirmed that Taz’s contract with TNA will expire in a couple of weeks if he does not resign before hand. TNA is also promoting a show in Brooklyn on July 5th, but it is not at the Barclays Center. TNA’s event is emanating from MCU Field, which is not the venue Taz referenced. Sources are reporting that “The Human Suplex Machine’s” final contractual appearance could be Saturday’s IMPACT WRESTLING! tapings, which will air on July 4th and July 11th.

As this is a rumor, make sure you continue to check WrestlingRumors.net for any new information on the subject!
