This week’s episode of WWE Main Event was taped before Smackdown in Columbia, South Carolina at the Colonial Life Arena. The show will air in the US on Wednesday.

WWE Main Event

(1) Chris Jericho def. Cody Rhodes via Submission.

– Christian vs. Dean Ambrose was announced for later in the night.

– Antonio Cesaro w/ Zeb Colter cut a promo on the entrance ramp.

(2) Christian defeated *United States Champion* Dean Ambrose via DQ. All three members of The Shield attacked Christian for the DQ and The Usos came down to make the save.

(3) Prime Time Players defeated Tons of Funk.
