Recent images on Twitter have provided more meat to the rumor about “Smackdown” possibly moving back to Thursday nights. As previously reported, multiple reports about the future of “Smackdown” have hit the web over the last year, but most had been about WWE wanting to take “Smackdown” live as it was in its original inception. Now, it seems as if WWE may be taking the program to Thursday nights.
One previous report talked about the way WWE was negotiating their television deal desires with companies, saying that they wanted to take the program live again. WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross even chimed in on the subject, talking about what it would look like if “Smackdown” became a live program on Tuesday nights, which is currently the night of the week that WWE tapes the program.
If WWE takes the program to Thursday nights, it would still air at 8 p.m. ET if the following images prove anything. These images were sent to us from Conor Delano on Twitter of a WWE trailer sporting the new WWE logo, and the new day for the show.
While these images look legit, no official word has been given from the company about their plans to move the program to a different day. This could easily be a doctored photo. Take this rumor with a grain of salt.

That would be something, huh? Interesting…
