During Monday Night Raw, it was announced that Big E. Langston would face Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel on Wednesday’s WWE Main Event program. That match did not happen, and F4Wonline.com is reporting that this was due to Langston leaving to be a part of the WWE Live Event tour that is happening over in Europe this week.

This was the second time this match did not happen after being promoted on WWE TV. The first of which was supposed to take place at WWE’s Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View on October 27th. Langston was scheduled to take on Axel for the Intercontinental strap during the PPV’s “Kickoff” show, but due to injuries suffered by Axel, the match was pulled from the card.

The rematch was scheduled for this Wednesday night, but obviously some booking was lost in translation, and some WWE officials did not realize that Langston would be gone on Tuesday night.
