The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed a possible Divas Championship Match at “Extreme Rules” could be, although the card is always subject to change. “Extreme Rules” will air on the WWE Network on April 26, and the list of confirmed matches for the event can be found here.

According to the report, and what we’ve seen on WWE programming in recent weeks, Naomi is who WWE officials originally wanted to face Nikki Bella at “Extreme Rules” for the Divas Championship. Naomi has gotten two clean pins on Bella on “Monday Night Raw” in succession.

However, plans could be changing with the announcement that a Divas Battle Royal will take place during the April 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” The Battle Royal, which was announced during the April 6 edition of “RAW,” will determine the No. 1 Contender for the Divas Championship.

While Naomi is still said to be the Diva who officials are planning on putting in the match with Bella at “Extreme Rules,” one cannot rule out the possibility of WWE bringing up former NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte to make her “RAW” debut in the Battle Royal. As previously reported, Vince McMahon caught a look at Charlotte’s work live and in-person at a NXT Live Event duringWrestleMania weekend, and is clamoring for her to be brought up to the main roster as soon as possible.

Charlotte could debut on the main roster, enter the Battle Royal, win it, and go on to win the Divas Championship from Bella at “Extreme Rules” if McMahon decides to pull-the-trigger on her this quickly. However, this is just speculation, as Naomi is the one originally penciled in to face Bella on April 26.

Editor’s Note:

Why have the Battle Royal on “RAW” next week if Naomi has already pinned Nikki twice, unless you’re bringing in Charlotte?
