Paige Will Face Nikki Bella at “Extreme Rules”

WWE Diva Paige will face Nikki Bella at “Extreme Rules” for the WWE Divas Championship. Paige won a No. 1 Contender Divas Battle Royal during the April 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw” to win the honor of challenging for the title on April 26.

Paige eliminated Naomi to become No. 1 Contender to Bella’s Divas Championship. While the stipulation has not yet been announced, the two will face off for the butterfly strap at “Extreme Rules.”

Paige last faced Bella in tag team bouts at WrestleMania 31 and on “Monday Night Raw” following the event. However, the last time the two went head-to-head for the title, Paige lost to Bella via the Rack Attack.

Naomi, who had bested Bella over recent weeks, getting pins over the champion, did not like that she was eliminated last by Paige. During an in-ring segment during the April 13 edition of “RAW,” Naomi attacked Paige following the Divas Battle Royal. Naomi would later claim that it’s all about her later on in the show during a backstage interview, effectively turning heel in the process.

“Extreme Rules” airs on the WWE Network on April 26.
