On the April 13 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” several WWE Divas will compete in a Battle Royal to determine a No. 1 contender for Nikki Bella’s WWE Divas Championship.

This match was first revealed when Summer Rae, Alicia Fox, Cameron and Natalya asked Kane to make it official during “Raw” on April 6.

WWE has since confirmed the participants in the Battle Royal:

  • Natalya
  • Naomi
  • Emma
  • Rosa Mendes
  • Summer Rae
  • Alicia Fox
  • Cameron
  • Brie Bella
  • Paige

The winner will challenge Nikki Bella for her belt at the WWE “Extreme Rules” pay-per-view.

Naomi has pinned Nikki for two-straight tag team matches on two consecutive episodes of “Raw,” making her the heavy favorite.

Editor’s Note

I was hoping WWE would consider bringing up an NXT Diva for this match. With the way Naomi’s been winning in recent weeks, it would seem like an obvious move to make her the No. 1 contender. Then again, why have a Battle Royal if that’s the case, right? Perhaps Paige is a darkhorse because “Raw” will be taped in England, but without some sort of shocking debut, this match will essentially come down to either Naomi or Paige. That’s it. We shall see on Monday which Diva earns that shot.
