Jim Ross has signed a deal with FOXSports.com. Ross revealed that he will now be writing exclusive columns for FOXSports, beginning with a piece about the upcoming WWE “Royal Rumble” Pay-Per-View, which will be available on FOXSports.com on Jan. 23.

The WWE Hall of Famer will also be launching a new podcast which will be hosted by the same internet channel as “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Chris Jericho’s programs, Podcast One. In addition to all of his new endeavors, Ross will also be working with World Wrestling Entertainment again soon to contribute to DVD documentaries and WWE Network programs, such as a new Paul Heyman career retrospective and WWE Legends House.

Ross discusses his current workload on Twitter saying,

Ross revealed his current career status just one day after an interview between himself and The Masked Man of Grantland.com disclosed that Ross was indeed “pushed” to retire from his 30 year tenure with WWE. Ross admits in the interview that the now infamous “WWE 2K14 Panel” was the primary cause for his release from the company in August of 2013, but that it happened at a good time for him and that he is content with all of the endeavors he is about to engage in.
