Batista is expected to win the Royal Rumble Match and headline WrestleMania XXX. A new report from PWInsider.com claims that WWE’s current plan is to give the recently re-signed “Animal” a monster push into major creative storylines over the next few months, including having him do exactly what he said he would do on “Monday Night Raw;” Win the Royal Rumble Match, and main event the thirtieth annual WrestleMania.

Batista recently made his return to WWE television during the Jan. 20 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” During his brief moment on the show with a microphone in hand, “The Animal” stated that he had returned to capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

After claiming that he would win the twenty-seventh annual Royal Rumble Match, Batista left the ring. He would later return to attack Alberto Del Rio, but the big return moment for “The Animal” would not be his actions throughout the night, but rather the few words that he spoke into the mic.

Batista may have told the WWE Universe exactly what to expect from his return during his first night back. He would not be the first person to go on WWE TV and do this however, as John Cena did the same thing in 2013. He told the fans that he would be winning the Royal Rumble Match, headlining WrestleMania, and capturing the WWE Championship. He then successfully achieved each goal, fulfilling his promise to the WWE Universe month-by-month.

According to the report, Batista likely just provided the WWE audience with the next few months of main event storylines. As the card is always subject to change, so are WWE creative plans, but as of Jan. 22, Batista is expected to win the Royal Rumble Match and headline WrestleMania XXX.
