According to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE doctors have examined Hulk Hogan and he is not physically cleared to compete at WrestleMania XXX. Rumors have been running wild about how the Hulkster will be involved with the thirtieth anniversary of WrestleMania, and the speculation on how Hogan will contribute to the show will likely not end until the event goes live on April 6.

According to the report, Hogan will be returning to WWE soon (possibly as early as the “Royal Rumble” Pay-Per-View), but will not be competing in any matches or taking any bumps. Hogan has personally stated that he will be working WrestleMania XXX, but after being examined by the WWE medical staff, the company decided to not book the Hulkster in any kind of physical encounter.

Rumors regarding Hogan’s role at WrestleMania XXX have spanned from him serving as the event’s host, to him tagging with John Cena and/or “Rowdy” Roddy Piper to take on the Real Americans (and/or “Rowdy” Roddy Piper). The latest word on the matter came from Piper himself during his appearance on the Steve Austin Show, where he revealed that WWE officials had asked both himself and Hogan to get in “ring shape” for WrestleMania because they were likely to be put on the card in some fashion.

However, if this new report is true, the WWE Universe will not see Hogan engage in any kind of physical altercations with any other superstars at WrestleMania XXX.
