Not long after Jake “The Snake” Roberts issued an apology to The Ultimate Warrior for making ill-advised comments regarding the latter’s WWE Hall of Fame induction, a member of Warrior’s camp has already blasted back.

Steve Wilton, Warrior’s official public representative, tweeted the following.

Roberts had appeared on Busted Open radio, and talked poorly about Warrior’s personality. He told the show:

“I know, man! I know that [their careers can’t be compared]. But maybe they’re taking in a**holes and not great talent. I don’t know.”

Warrior then responded with tweets attacking Roberts, which led to the official statement. Warrior was the first name announced for induction into the WWE Hall of Fame for 2014. Roberts himself has been rumored for induction this year, but it has yet to be announced. He made his return to television earlier this month at “Old School Raw.”

Is it possible that his recent comments could have cost him a spot?
