PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE officials and many others backstage have been impressed with the work of the Divas in the ring as of late. There is a consensus that their in-ring work has been proving quickly.

The man responsible for this is former WWE and WCW Superstar Dave “Fit” Finlay. Finlay returned to WWE in 2012 after having been let go a year before. He had orchestrated The Miz to interrupt the United States national anthem during a house show in order to get heat, but the maneuver was seen as disrespectful by many and led to his termination. The company then brought him back as a consultant to the Divas, which led to him serving as a a backstage producer and agent for their matches.

Before Finlay, current WWE Tag Team Champion Goldust was working with the Divas and helping craft their matches and stories. Finlay became a trainer and agent full-time in 2010, and hasn’t been seen in the ring since that time. He has trained several big name female wrestlers in the past, including Trish Stratus, Gail Kim, Eve Torres and many more.
