Hulk Hogan’s Involvement With WWE 2K14 Revealed

As we reported Monday, 2K Sports is featuring a “30 Years of WrestleMania” mode in the upcoming WWE video game, WWE 2K14. It was also announced Monday that WWE Hall of Famer and current IMPACT WRESTLING General Manager Hulk Hogan will be a featured character in the game, spawning rumors of a return to the WWE in the near future.

Hogan’s involvement with WWE 2K14 is like that of the Ultimate Warrior’s, where his contract is actually with production company Take-Two, not the WWE. Hogan held a similar contract with THQ in previous years so that his likeness could appear in WWE All Stars and all of the WWE’s Legends of WrestleMania games.

TNA’s current contract with Hogan does not forbid the Icon from participating in any outside marketing and licensing deals. As seen in the screenshots we posted Monday, Hogan will appear as both the red and yellow clad, “Immortal Hulk Hogan,” and as the nWo’s Hollywood Hogan in WWE 2K14.
