Rob Van Dam won a 20-man Battle Royal during Monday Night Raw to become the number one contender for the United States Championship. He will face current US Champion Dean Ambrose this Sunday night WWE SummerSlam.

18 other men were eliminated before Van Dam would stay toe-to-toe with Mark Henry. As Henry charged Van Dam while RVD was on the apron, Van Dam dropped and pulled the rope. This used Henry’s own momentum against him, and sent him spilling over onto the outside.

Van Dam will now face Ambrose Sunday night during SummerSlam’s pre-show for the United States Championship at 7:00pmET on YouTube.com and WWE.com.
