Former TNA star Christopher Daniels is officially a free agent. As we previously reported, Daniels and tag team partner Kazarian have been rumored to be leaving TNA soon. On April 23 via Twitter, Daniels confirms these rumors, at least on his behalf.
Daniels tweets,
I became a free agent & a published comic book writer on the same day! http://t.co/X5y9tUV0pu
— Christopher Daniels (@facdaniels) April 23, 2014
Daniels had appeared for TNA Wrestling multiple times between 2002-2014. He went through various stints in Ring of Honor and Japanese promotions during this time as well. Before locking into contracts with Ring of Honor and TNA, Daniels worked as a jobber in the WWE.
Daniels referenced becoming a comic book writer on the same day his contract with TNA ended. Daniels is a huge comic book fan, whose favorite character is Wolverine. Daniels is currently writing a comic book based on wrestling called “Wrestle Aw Yeah Comics,” which appears to feature cartoon versions of both Kazarian and himself wrestling different people/creatures.
Editor’s Note:
Daniels was a good talent. Big spot monkey, but good talent. I wonder if he’ll just hang up the boots at 43.
