On Tuesday, April 22, WWE taped the April 25 edition of “WWE Smackdown” in Hershey, Pa. at the Giant Center.

Below are the spoilers for the April 22 edition of “WWE Smackdown:”

The show began with Vickie Guerrero, Paul Heyman, Zeb Colter, Jack Swagger, and Cesaro in the ring. Vickie took the time to announce the main event, pitting The Shield up against many WWE Superstars. She then revealed that a debate will take place between Paul Heyman and Zeb Colter right now.

To kick off the debate, Colter wanted to debate about Cesaro turning on him, asking Heyman why he stole Cesaro from him. Heyman ignored him, instead reiterating that Brock Lesnar conquered The Streak. Colter persisted, but Heyman instead asked Colter when was the last time one of his guys won, informing Colter that Cesaro was a “Paul Heyman Guy” when he won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Zeb then pushed over the podiums, which were set up for the debate, in addition to shoving Heyman. The two began to battle, but were broken up to close the segment.

4) Erick Rowan and Luke Harper def. Cody Rhodes and Goldust- During the match, Bray taunted the crowd, asking them if they were unimpressed by the Rhodes brothers, who Wyatt said are not the future. The match ended after Cody went for a moonsault, only for Goldust to run into him. This caused Goldust to get upset, which ended up being his downfall, as he was pinned.

Another backstage segment aired. This one was with Brad Maddox, who is now in charge for the night. While on the phone, The Shield entered his office, attacking him.

5) Emma and Santino vs. Layla and Fandango failed to happen- The match failed to start because while Fandango is on stage dancing, The Shield attacked him. The trio then gave Fandango a triple powerbomb off the stage through two tables. The maneuver led to a “this is awesome” chant from the crowd.
